Mate Bella (Composer)
He started learning music at the Leo Weiner Conservatory and the Bela Bartok Conservatory in Budapest. Since 2006, he has been a student at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where he studies composition. He attended the Hudson-Danube Project (New York - Budapest) under Joel Sachs' direction. Mr. Bella has won several composition competitions such as the 6th Farbotony International Competition in 2003 and the Hungarian Composition Competition in 2004. He was the Composer of the Best Song in 2007 at the University of Theatre and Film. He received first prize at the Competition of Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in 2008 and 2009. He is frequently requested to compose music for the National Theatre of Hungary.
